2005 Relay high miles

My wife and I were in an accident and our car was totaled. Now we have the opportunity to purchase a 2005 Saturn Relay with 160,000 miles on it. The vehicle was on the road last for two months as taxi. Is 160,000 something we should be concerned about? Are saturns a car that can go to like 300,000 before you have to buy a new one?

any car with 160k is hit or miss. but my first question would be is why after two months would the taxi guy get rid of it.. they dont exchange cars unless a good reason. id try find out that answer.

The relay had a lot of issues under normal use and low miles. I would exercise extreme caution. The Relay has almost nothing in common with the other Saturns. It is a gm corporate van they sold under several gm badges.

My Relay 2005 is 350 K old and i very happy with my car.Never happened problems on the road,no big repairs. Only regular service:tires,brakes,Wheel barns and nothing more.But i bought brand new car-not used.And i know my car very good.

u r lucky that car doesn't just **** the bed. Saturn Relay is possibly the worst car ever made. I have an 06 ' with 80 K mi. and have had nothing but aggravation and despair from day 1. GM garbage.

HAs anyone had problems w/ abs light going on?? Thinking its the abs speed sensors. Can they be replced or are they part of the hub??

Mine has the same light on with the break light showing as well , i dont know how to turn it off

You need a scan tool to identify the ABS problem. An ABS and red Brake light usually indicates a large ABS system failure such as the EBCM or something along those lines. You can clear the code all you want, and it will come right back under normal circumstances.
