2005 VUE 2.2L
Default 05 Vue 2.2L 5 Speed Clutch Goes To Floor

Alright guys Iím having an issue with my 05 Saturn Vue 2.2L 5 Speed. Basically the clutch goes all the way down to the floor with no pressure whatsoever. Iím not sure whatís going on. The car has been driving perfectly fine with no issues at all. I drove it today around town than went to my grandparents house and when I came out to leave car started but clutch went straight to floor so it wouldnít disengage to allow to put in gear. Now with the car shutoff it goes into gear but when started no go. Car has 278,000 miles as I do a lot of out of town driving weekly for work. I checked the reservoir, it was low but not empty. Added fluid but it made no difference.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Sounds like either the master cylinder or a slave cylinder.

Is it leaking fluid ??? Look underneath for a puddle of fluid..

278k. I'm impressed. I'd also say your probably near the end..

New clutch and slave is a reasonably easy job to do. If you decide to tackle it, I'd also recommend doing a timing chain.
