1995 SL2
1999 SL2
Default Cps

Hello all,
I am making the trek to Boston Ma for the extinct car show, and it is about 6 hours each way for me. My 1995 Sl2 has 155k on it, runs great, always fires up, but my father (former saturn tech) said it may be a smart idea to replace the crank sensor before coming up. I really do not want to spend the money right now, and have a spare from my 1994 Sl2's engine with only 53k on it. Now, do these go bad over time or from mileage? If age doesnt matter too much Ill just head up with the spare CPS in my trunk just in case, along with spare coils and module.
Thanks for the advice,

1994 Sl2 5spd: 56,576 (Totaled 1/10/2018)
1995 Sl2 5spd Manual Swap: 150,062
1999 Sl2 4spd: 98,8xx
