Default Damaged front wheel

Today, in barely half an inch of snow, I slid in my 1996 SL1 and went into the curb on my street.
The left front wheel is bent around the rim and looks to be leaning slightly inward. I plan to try to get the emergency spare tire on tomorrow and then drive it to my local mechanic about 2 miles away.
Aside from the obvious need for a new steel wheel, what other issues might I expect to be dealing with here?

Uhh, you posted in the L-series where there are fewer of us than over in the S-series forums. You can either pm Charlie to move your thread over to the S-series forums or simply re-post again over there.

When you jack up the front end and remove the wheel, you'll get a better look at any other damage behind the wheel - tie-rods, lower control arm, strut, etc.. Turn the steering wheel to see how bad things are or have someone do this while you look for anything else broken.

You may need a wheel alignment even if there is nothing visibly bent. Does the car drive straight - not pulling to one side? Also have a good look where the ball joint connects to the suspension arm.

Oops! Sorry, I posted in L series rather than S series.
I got the damaged wheel off and everthing looks OK behind the wheel. I'm sure I'll need an alignment however.
The emergency spare is on and I'll get it to a mechanic tomorrow. Thanks.
