Dizzy strut tower brace: is it worth it?

Anybody who has added a strut tower brace: did it really help? I'm not planning on any actual racing anytime soon, but I wondered if it made a difference in normal (say faster than the average sunday driver) around-town and highway driving. Just wanted to find out before I plunk down the cash.

By-the-by... NOPI online has strut braces for $35 for the Saturn S series. Had anybody tried these specific ones? Are they all the same?

thanks

Yep the strut bar helped esp. after the installation of the wider rims/tires.

Save your cash and get an APC bar from http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...349&prmenbr=76

They are strong and fit right the first time. The only bad thing is the paint on the end brackets sucks. Just strip them and put on some good quality latex spray paint and you are golden.

Abe.

you will notice a difference.

the car seems to steer better and just fell stronger in turns.

i only spent about $60 shipped for the SPS one. i would recomment putting one on. and brace is better than no brace.

Happy

a strut tower brace is worth it if you have lowered your Saturn the brace will reduce bump-steer. the one that I got is the original SPS one that's adjustable and fits correctly.

The brace definitely makes a difference, even if just doing daily driving. I'm selling mine (see Classifieds) but it was the best and most noticeable mod I ever made. I don't know anyone who regrets putting a strut tower brace on their car. Good luck!!
