Default Suspension Noise

Ok before my car would always like squeek or clunk when I went over a "sharp" bump at a low speed, maybe at higher, but I can't hear them from tires/wind/engine noise. Anyway I jsut noticed the other day going about 40 if I hit a "sharp" bump it makes this noise that sounds like the air dam is hitting the ground (like if you scrape it on a parking block). By no means was it big enough of a bump for that part to hit the ground, nor is it loose.

Any idea what it might be?

Default Re: Suspension Noise

It's the bushings; my ION made the same noise (that scraping noise) until they got replaced.

They were quiet for a while, then this popping noise started up, so I got them replaced again. So far, they're quiet.

Your Saturn dealer will replace them under warranty.
