i have been told on here that there is a 7mm nut on top of the transmission cover and there are wires running in there can you take that nut out and clean the electrical connectors in there if so what can you clean them with they say those need good contact for the transmission to operate like they should any feedback would be greatly appreciated

You're right. The connector is under the battery tray. You'll need to remove it. There are two 13mm bolts holding the tray in and one 13mm accessed through the driver wheel well.

You dont have to remove the battery tray, just unscrew the wiring harness and spray it with electrical cleaner.
