I have a 1994 SL2 and Have just replaced the following:
Strut Mounts and Bearings Driver and Passenger Side Control Arms Driver and Passenger Side After getting an alignment I noticed squeaking when I turn. Doesnt seem to make a difference on how fast I go or how sharp of a turn I take. I believe it is the strut mounts and that there should havve been some grease or lubricant put on between the bearing/mount and the rubber ring that sits on top of the spring...am I wrong in thinking this and if not what kind of lubricant/grease should I get? Thanks in advance!!! |

Mine squeaked very loudly when I replaced my struts and strut mounts, but the squeaking is now going away. I figured it's just breaking in right now since its all new equipment. I even had it double checked by a mechanic and was told everything was installed correctly.
