Default Aftermarket fog light mounting?

I have a 1998 SW1 and I recently ordered 2.5" Bixenon fog lights. I'm planning on having quad lows and 6 high beams. I can do the wiring but what do you all recommend on where to mount these because I feel the bumper is too flimsy.

So my idea is now to take the center piece thats between the headlights out, cut two circles in it and mount up the lights behind this. Its officially my best idea! If anybody has any tips on making perfectly round holes in that plastic however please chime in.

Can't you just mount them to the impact bar behind the bumper like everyone else? Even the factory ones are mounted to a bracket that mounts to the impact bar...

I would but the HID fogs simply don't fit down there from what I can tell. I've ordered a 2.5" hole saw, 2 3" high strength magnets(to hold them in place so I don't need to weld), and some lexan glass to put behind the holes I'm making.. Wish me luck on my unique SW.

Your bumper might be different than mine but I just used the factory spot. That middle section will look pretty unique though!
