1994 SL2
Question Power Steering Rack Swap

I'm in a '94 SL2 with Power Steering. I'm reading that the steering is 18.3:1 with a 3.0 revolutions lock-to-lock on the SL2. I'm also seeing that the Steering Ratio is 16.3:1 on the SC Models, with a 2.7 Revolution Lock-to-Lock.

What, if anything, would be gained (or lost) if I were to pick up an 94' SC2 power steering rack from a JY and swap it into my SL2?

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

90% of the tighter turning radius the '91-'96 Coupes have over the 4dr models is the 4" shorter wheelbase.

I've had a manual rack and power racks in every DOHC from '93 to '97...other than parking lot effort I didn't notice a difference.

Ok. Sounds like it won't be worth the effort. Meh.

Thanks for your input anyways.
