Default Replaced O2 sensor.....code reset?

Have an '06 Ion-3 with Check Engine lit and a P0135 code (pre-cat O2 sensor heater). After getting a $244 estimate from Mr. Mechanic, I bought an OEM replacement online for $29 and put it in. Fingers are crossed. Question: is a hard code reset needed (scan tool or battery disconnect maybe) to extinguish the light, or will sufficient drive cycles do the trick? If so, what's the drive cycle regimen needed to please the computer?

Thanks in advance. :-)
