I understand that you did not mean to drive. I just had something I needed to pick up and then the car was hot so trying to unplug the sensor felt like a bad idea at the time. Like how loud should the fan be. I mean I have tried turning the AC on and I am not sure that I have heard much of a difference.

I will try again, but are we talking a huge increase in sound. And should I feel a very strong breeze if I put my hand about the fan enclosure? Like blowing up from underneath between the fan and the radiator with the hood open?

You'll know the difference. As the Nike ad says, "Just Do It". With ac running, you should hear the fan before opening the hood. It should be loud when the hood is open.

Okay, I will check that and see if I notice it. And I suppose if I do not, the fan not working would be a huge cause of overheating that makes perfect sense for it being fine under speed but hot at a standstill

Well I can hear something different in the noise when I turn the AC on. It is not uber uber loud, but it is a definite noise, that I would sort of say sounds weezie. So I am thinking that must be the fan spinning.
