Happy Re: How to tell that you own a Saturn S

I have completely lost count of them.
My wife banished me from adding any more to the fridge some time ago (although 18 still remain).
Lately they are breeding on tool boxes and supply cabinets and are threatening to start appearing on flat metal surfaces in the cars and truck......

Checking your oil every 3 days or so is another symptom. It took me several months to get out of that habit after replacing my SL.

RIP my 2002 SL1, totaled 9/18/2012... found its replacement (2002 SL) 9/26/12, traded it in 5/10/2018 (199,604 miles).

I don't have a single quart bottle of oil in my garage.

I have four 5-quart full jugs, a half jug I am currently using, and a bunch of 5-quart empties I need to toss out (or have used motor oil that needs recycling)

Our '99 uses almost no oil after the rebuild. The '98 is also not bad, maybe a quart in 3000 miles.

On choice sections of pavement, you turn down the radio to listen for unknown rattles, as opposed to the familiar known rattles. You even know which rattles disappear once wind pressure takes up the slack in loose body panels.

I'm slowly recovering. I haven't gotten a magnet since today. Before that it was last week.

Another sign is you share good Saturn deals you find on Craigslist with your non-Saturn friends to try and help them.

Got my first Saturn magnet today. It's an Ion though, not a real Saturn. You guys should submit a picture to Rock Auto so we can get S Series magnets. Mark_b, Pitcher, you listening?

You get excited when you can find and purchase OEM parts, just in case you ever need them - at least I do.

Also, I only have 2 Rock Auto magnets which had been thrown into my kitchen junk drawer. I promise to place them on my outside freezer and start 'my' collection. I do apologize for that oversight.

You can pull your key out of the ignition switch with zero effort.

The passenger side of your front chassis is rust free.

Your Saturn laughs at shopping carts.

NO RUST! (at least visible rust).

You search for a gas station that's 2 less than the one you just passed, and you only need 10 gallons.
