2007 ION-2 Sedan
Default Extra wire under passenger seat

I cannot figure out what this wire or, or what it is supposed to connect to. It comes out of the center console. Any ideas?

Hard to tell for sure from the pictures what it is. It does not look factory though.

That's a satellite radio connector. Previous owner probably had an aftermarket XM receiver. I'd just tuck it up under the console and forget about it, or snip the end off. The other end is probably cut anyway, unless you have any antennas (besides OnStar and the radio antenna).

Definitely not factory - XM was an available option both from the factory and the dealer, and used existing wiring.
