Default Splash Shield Swap

Sadly a local oil change place will remove your splash or gravel shield sometimes and never put it back on, and that happened to my 95 SL2 before I took ownership.

So my question is, for the passenger side front wheel, what years and models would have the same splash shield to fit my 95 SL2? It is critical I replace ASAP so I need to find one that would fit.

Default Re: Splash Shield Swap

I would think it's something you want to find fairly quickly. Your drive belts are right there exposed, and the oil filter isn't tucked back there too far either.

I don't have any cross reference pulled up, but I would think any first gen parts would work. My '95 SOHC actually has a two piece splash shield, and the rear part seems to be the one that would be hard to "fake" it with. On the front piece you could probably make something temporary fairly easy.
