3157 vs. 3156
I have a 2000 Saturn SL2, and I'm looking to change my bulbs for the turn signals, brake/tail, reverse, license plate, & side markers.
I know that I need 3157s for the front turn signals & the brake/tail light....but the rear turn signals & the reverse lights also have 3157s, when they really only need 3156s, since they don't need a dual filament.
Can I use 3156s or do I need to stick to the 3157s?
Thanks for your input!!

What does it list in the owners manual? parts book shows 1156 bulbs so check the sockets.
