2000 L-Series 2.2L Sedan
Default Strange Headlight activity

A few strange things have been going on regularly with the headlights on my 2000 L1.
First, the headlights will come on with no key in the ignition and the switch off. Therefore, I have to pull my headlight fuses anytime I am parked for extended periods of time.
Second, when I drive the car (and the fuses are in), the hi-beams will stay on. They will go off if I keep slight pressure on the light switch lever and they will eventually stay off after driving for a while.
Is this a BCM thing? Ground contact problem? Maybe a bad switch somewhere?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

the headlight is caused by the switch, it may be broken or something... you really need to replace it...

Stalk switch on the steering column is going bad, common problem with the L's. Last I heard it was less than $50 for the part and takes about a half hour to DIY.
