Default Fuel injector installation

Could anyone please tell me how deep the injectors are supposed to be installed.
After pushing them into the fuel rail and then bolting the rail back on, I am seeing about 1/8" of the blue band on the injectors.
Perhaps I pushed them too far into the fuel rail.
Thanks for your help.

They go into the rail until you can get the clip on. They stick into the intake until the bolts go through the rail into the manifold. They are not into the manifold very far. The rail bolts are special deep shoulder bolts, that is what you have I hope.

The clip determines how far they go into the rail and the rail mounting bolt sets the rail position. The o-ring is just past the chamfer on the manifold when they are in right.

I didn't remove my injectors from the fuel rail when I removed them from the manifold. Upon re-installing the injectors to the manifold, I also have about 1/8" of the blue collar showing above the manifold. The three shoulder bolts that secure the fuel rail lined up perfectly.

Just remember to lube the o-rings. Dont let them go in dry.
