Trunk light and dome light out (at the same time). There are fuses all over this car - are these 2 lights in particular on the same fuse? I found a trunk fuse behind the drivers side kick panel - don't know if that's the trunk popper though.

It might help to either put your car stats in your personal profile for free display under your name or we play twenty questions...............
![]() Keep looking in the meantime for any fuse that's blown; underhood, driver and passenger side kick panels.

And my apology to you as I'm even confused by some of our wiring. The body control module (BCM) is used to turn on the dome and trunk lights and there are several bcm fuses to check to be sure one of them isn't blown. You'll have to go through all three fuse panels to be sure. The bcm controls many things. I think the 10A BCM 2 fuse is the one to check for in the underhood fuse block.

wow! so I'm not crazy for not being able to figure this out on my own. This small issue made me feel a bit amateur. I'll start pulling and checking.
Any harm in pulling fuses just to check? |

Turns out the circuit for this fuse is shorted out somewhere. Fuses just pop immediately when I replace with new one. Luckily - this fuse doesn't effect drivability, but has anyone else had an issue with this shorting out? perhaps in a certain location?
