Hi guys, I'm new here. My names Daniel.
I have a 01 LW300 V6 which I just swapped the engine due to timing belt breaking, now no start no crank. No fuel pressure at rail and no 12 volts at starter or park/nuetral safety switch. Ignition key is missing key fob remote. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance Daniel |

1-Did you check every wire harness during the engine swap, battery connections, all engine/chassis grounds? Checked for blown fuses in all three fuse panel locations?
2-Can you hear the faint hum/hiss sounds of the pump running for 2 seconds when ignition is first turned on? Depressing the fuel test valve is another way to see if fuel pressure develops when a pump runs. Saturn fuel pumps do not run continuously with ignition ON engine OFF. Starting allows the EFI system to turn on pump operation.

yes, but one i cant find it is a male two prong connector with a purple and yellow wire, it only has one inch of slack off the harness its right on the trans near the connectors for the coil packs. It has 5 volts when the key is on. Any ideas?
No all I hear is the throttle body |

The throttle body enters an automatic calibration mode (slight whir) after ign is left ON (engine off) beyond 30 seconds.
Here are two drawings with the same yw/ppl wires but different plugs.

Ya it s the throttle body making noise.
The connector is right where the trans and engine meet under the manifold. Im baffled, it right near the water distribution pipe?? |

Did you mouse over each thumbnail and click on it to open a larger view of the two connectors?

Problem finally solved.
Signal wire from the alternator that send voltage to starter solenoid was damaged, I replaced the wire and fusible link and starts like normal. Thank you all for your help Remember to always check the basics first. Daniel |
