Default OT Buick Enclave

I drove by the Delta Township plant today. They usually have a GMC
and Saturn sitting on a display over looking I-69 but today they had
just a Buick Enclave sitting there. It doesnt look to bad.

I've never seen a good-looking Buick. Ever. The Enclave looks hideous to me. I don't like the GMC truck image, but I'd buy an Acadia rather than an Enclave, if you don't like the Outlook.

The only thing I don't like about the Acadia is the large "GMC" on the front grille.

Yes, the Saturn logo is large'ish too but it doesn't seem as gregarious.

The news last week said that all future Buick's will have styling geared toward the Chinese. This from the popularity of Buick in their country. They said that the Chinese liked the retro styling, so Ventiports and other distictive Buick styling cues will be present in future designs.

Have to agree. I think you can see that GMC logo close to a mile away

It will definitely leave its mark if it hits anything

That aside its a handsome ride.

Absolutely!

There's someone who works in my building that just got a cream AWD Acadia and it looks really good.

Over at GMInsideNews everyone has been in love with the Enclave. Or at least this is the case with those that speak up.

But on Outlook and Acadia forums, I've noticed that many people don't care for it.

Which means GM has actually gotten the brand differentiation thing right for once. Different vehicles off the same platform should appeal to different people. And since people here like the Outlook...

They didn't do such a good job differentiating the Outlook and Acadia, as anyone who likes one is likely to also like the other. If either one wasn't available, most buyers would switch to the other rather than a competitor's vehicle.

Exactly! On most forums and in general, people love the Enclave, then you get into the more specific Acadia & Outlook threads, and a lot of people there don't. Doesn't seem like a great thing at first, but it really is, because it shows just how much differentiation there really is--enough that, despite being the same platform and sharing a lot of bits, each is already appealing to different sets of clients.

I happen to really like the Enclave, but also like the Acadia & Outlook, so I fall into yet another category. Hopefully, the new Chevy variant (EVERYONE is crossing their fingers here) will also be unique enough on it's own front, and not simply be a rebadge either--and that'll open up another market channel.

I love the Outlook but after our experience with the local Saturn
dealer and our Vue we are a little turned off with dealing with them.
