Default Buss Plate connector on top of tranny

I had a question about cleaning it, since I had been having a bit of trouble with shifting....and was going to get down around the filter to check on the tranny fluid temp sensor connections after the p0711 code at me.....can you just spray some electronic parts cleaner around it to clean it?

Unless you are getting an oil soaked wiring harness/wiring at the connector you should be able to leave it be.
For the P0711 if you don't find any damaged wiring at the trans temp sensor make sure that the engine temp sensor is good. The trans, engine and air temp sensors are used to compare to each other for this code.

Well I think it's a combination of dirt, grime from oil and coolant leak......I sprayed around there with compressed air and got my hand down to push on the TTS after I had sprayed around it with the compressed air and the code hasn't come back.......I just was wondering since I am going to inspect the TSS further soon.....if I shouldn't just give the bussplate a good cleaning, to remove the layer or two of crud around it so the next dose doesn't cause big problems.........
