I'm trying to install an auxiliary cigarette lighter http://www.awdirect.com/awdirect/fin...m?itemid=10008
Im planning to tap into the inside fuse box for power using something like this http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/FU...ON_p_4932.html where would be a good place to ground it? im guessing the metal frame that supports the radio & a/c... is safe / recommended?? where else if not there. i got sick of only being able to use one cup holder when charging. |

There are bare metal support brackets aroung the in car fuse block that are already being used for ground points so they would be ideal.

yes, a bolt should be holding down a large ground wire (which is the ground for multiple things in your car) unbolt it, "splice" your ground into the esisting ground wires and tighten the bolt back down.
If you dont have access to a ratchet, you can solder it to the frame itself, or even hold it down with electrical tape <----not too smart |
