Default $42,340

That is the price of a 2006 AWD Relay 3 with every option Saturn offers.

Not a bad price for all the options you get. I bet it would take a week to learn how everything works.

That can't be right. Let me check. You can get a Lexus out the door at MSRP for that money--Hell, a Mercedes-Benz at MSRP!!!!

Well, it's correct alright. But here's why it's that high: the $4,795 Sit-and-Lift Power 2nd row seat. Minus that, a loaded Relay is $37,545. Still not that great. So much for lowering the 2006MY prices (these prices seem awfully similar to the 2005 prices). A Sienna XLE Ltd. or an Odyssey Touring goes for about the same.

Why would someone want a lowly Odessy Touring, complete with its pushrod motor and 80s chassis design when they could have a Relay 3 AWD with GM Employee (A-Plan) pricing???

hmm 43k or 10 decent used s series.... or 43K for minivan vs $4k for used s series + payoff rest of mortgage. U get the idea. I don't know who the ppl are that can afford 43k but it seems like those ppl would actually be buying foreign cars or corvettes.

Yeah, I don't know too many people making average salaries (what's the average, around $50k in this country?) and raising kids who can afford a $40,000 minivan!

GM is in love with these vans even if we aren't. Notice VUE and ION are available with 0.9% financing while the Relay is at 4.9%
By the end of the month I will have nothing but fully loaded Redline VUEs and ION Redlines and Relays of all options on the lot.

It's actually in the $43k range. I know because our retirement plan has a break on the average salary as determined by the National Labor Board or some crap.

People aren't going to be cross-shopping used compact cars and new minivans....

Yeah but find one that exists with a sticker this high. It doesn't exist. Our experience here is that the average Relay is stickering around the $29,500 mark. That's before GM Pricing

We've had one that was like $39K come through at work. A long time buyer of Saturns of ours traded in her QuadCoupe on it... she ordered all of the goodies, including sit-and-lift (her kid is in a wheelchair). IIRC it was a FWD3, but it might have been an AWD3.

It's amazing to think that a company that was always known for its low priced cars now makes such an expensive vehicle!

Still, it can't be bad that Saturn has a car for all tastes and pockets.

Well, I see a lot of fully-loaded Odysseys and Siennas on the road, and I know that many of them MSRP at $35K+. If a loaded Relay FWD without sit-and-lift costs similarly, I would rather get the Odyssey or Sienna.

Well, I mean, I would never pay that much for a minivan, but assuming I absolutely HAD to have a decked-out minivan with every possible luxury and electronic doodad, the Relay would not be my choice. Actually, it would probably be near the bottom of my list.

I guess that's the point I was getting at. You won't see one that expensive just sitting on a lot, it will be an order piece. The most expensive one we have sold was an AWD at approx $33,000. I'll bet at $39K yours was an AWD though if I had to guess.
