Default 2002 SL2 Factory muffler with replacement cat to muffler pipe

I have a 2002 SL2 that previous owner replaced cat back system with the walker two piece kit. 54251 with 56017.

The Walker kit now has a hole near the over the axial bend.

I want to put the factory original muffler 21013360 with factory strap 21013123 back the way it should be. The problem I have is locating the factory section that falls between the cat flange and the new factory muffler as it will be picked up from the dealer.

Can the Walker pipe (35119) for 1998 and older be used to bridge the gap?

If the answer is YES, are there any modifications necessary to the (35119)?

What are the exact OEM parts that could bridge the gap if I need to go that route?

Thanks

I was under the impression that the '00-'02 cat-back was bolt in and therefor awesome but this parts diagram shows it to be weld in like '91-'99 :/

The proper way to fix a S-Series automatic is to replace it with a manual

It seems there is no one piece section from factory that includes the resonator.

You wind up having to put two sections together to fit between the factory muffler and the cat flange. As the TB spells out factory pipe 21013145 and factory resonator 21013457 to bring it all together factory.

See attached images that show what has to happen to replace pipe and resonator. The thought of two factory sections as opposed to a possible one piece aftermarket makes it hard to stay all factory.
