Default Mom's twin cam '99 wagon rear ended-Atlanta, GA

Actually my 83 year old mom rear ended someone else and
busted the headlights and grill and hood. Too expensive to fix
so I have a good running wagon with 98K thousand miles in
Atlanta, GA to sell to someone or junkyard.
It is insured through the rest of the month so I can drive it anywhere
or anyone can test drive it if they want to.

The junkyard offered me $600 for the car and I was wondering
if there might be someone who wanted a parts car with a good
running very strong motor and tranny and about everything else
etc.

If I was close I would buy it from you and rebuild it. Minor front end collisions are not that hard to repair.

I figured all wagons would have had automatic transmission but
anyway, it is a 99 wagon twin cam engine with auto transmission
in Atlanta, GA.

NAH, I think since the grill is pushed in and headlights and bumper
and front of hood destroyed, it certainly would be too expensive
to pay to have the work done compared to the worth of the car.

But it runs good and I am still driving it ... DAYLIGHT only as the
lights are so busted. I might not even be legal but I am not stupid
enough to drive at night without any lights.

The main thing is this is an engine driven by an 83 year old
and the 98K miles were gentle since $14k when she got it.
She is sick that she wrecked it as she really liked it. She is tiny
and it was easy for her to get into and out of.

My SW2

or

Lot more
ShawnV's SC2 revival

if you can go to the junkyard.... you can pick up a whole front clip in the same color as the car for about 300ish if you pull it..... and thats hood, fenders, lights and bumper

Just a thought

It may not be worth it to pay to have the work done (though it might be), but a lot of folks on here are DIY'ers, and could repair it with some elbow grease and a $100 trip to the pick-n-pull. lol

The damage to my mom's car is in the middle of the two examples
given. The radiator was pushed back slightly but not so much that
the fan rubs on anything. IT holds fluid well and is perfectly drivable.
There is more hood damage than the lightly damaged car.

I also forgot to mention that the wheels are the alloy wheels.

5 million people in Atlanta, GA area and I know somebody would
want this car for the engine and parts but unfortunately they
are not on this forum.

I am not handy enough to do the work myself. If I lived in
a rural area, I could drive this car forever during daylight
hours only. Actually in mexico, this could be a work vehicle
for another ten years.... or any other place that does not require
annual inspections etc.
