noise in engine compartment
I have a brand new noise that just started yesterday. Whenever the engine is running between 2000 and 2500 rpm there is a loud, low frquency buzz coming from what sounds like the left side of the engine. It's enough to rattle everything in the car including the gas pedal. The only recent work I've done is put on a new belt bypassing the a/c but this noise is coming from the opposite side of the engine. Any ideas?

Its a low frequency buzzing that rattles the whole car? Keep your windows locks and your doors rolled up and watch out for a huge flock of bees.
