Default 02 SOCH Service Engine Soon P0137 P0301 P0507

Hello,

I have a 02 SL1 with the SOCH engine.

Over a year and a half ago my car started missing, and the SES light came on. I thought ignition, so I replaced the wires and plugs, and tested the coils and computer. Didn't help. So I decided to drive it, and just joked to my friends that I had a farting car.

This past summer I started to lose speed on the highway, so I decided to look into it again. I found the post here about the intake gasket, so I did the brake cleaner trick, discovered the problem, and then followed the post, and changed the gasket. (Thanks!) I was very careful not to ruin the gasket.

When I was done, I started the car, and it ran awesome! The light went off right away. I had forgotten how nice it was to have a car that idled correctly, and gas mileage improved!

This lasted two months.

A few weeks ago I was passing someone on the freeway, and my SES light came on.

Now, I don't have a miss at idle like I did before, and I sprayed the brake cleaner again around the gasket and nothing happened...

I took it to Autozone and got the codes. P0137 P0301 and P0507 all came out.

Could the P0301 and P0507 be still in the computer from before the gasket change?

If so, how do I clear them? I'm thinking maybe I should clear them and retest?

The P0137 says Oxygen sensor defective. Are there any other symptoms of this other then the SES light? The idle seems to be a little higher then what it used to be, but I'm not sure...

Thanks for your help!
