well since all the rain we have had over the weekend in Mo. the entire floor in the car on the right hand side is soaked...checked all the sunroof drain lines and found the right rear is not connected to the sunroof module..Now do I have to take the headliner down to access the conection. or can i just remove the glass and acess it from the top...btw the sunroof does not work..thanks

You might be able to gently pull down the headliner in the right rear.I think it is just velcro that holds it up.

I would take the whole thing down and inspect them all while you are fixing the one drain tube. Sunvisors, map light, and dome light all have to come down, side trim has to be pulled out far enough to make clearance for the headliner, and some instructions say to take the top dash panel off for extra clearance. Seat removal would be a bonus and make the job easier, you'll need an E10 Torx socket for the seat bolts.

You shouldn't need to do anything with the headliner.
The problem is usually debris collecting at the end of the tubes where they exit the car. I had the same problem - passenger side floorboard wet after rain. Just took off the kick panels on both sides and cleaned out the bottom of the tube - there is a little piece with a screen in it that the hose connects to. Use the search forum feature and you can find plenty of pics and diagrams.... This thread has a diagram: http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=140011 |

I would just take down the headliner and re-secure all of them.
Once you do it once, its not a big deal. I did mine, and I'd do it again if I had to.
