Default ls v6 coolant drain

Is there a way to drain ALL of the coolant from my 2000 LS3 V6? The radiator drain only lets out 1 gallon. Most cars have a drain on the engine block but the Haynes manual doesn't mention it (as usual). I have seen this posted before w/o an answer.

I guess that I have to reply to my own post. Two local dealers said that they use a machine to do the coolant flush for about $70. They had no info for a block drain. I am going to drain what I can from the radiator petcock, refill with distilled water ($1), run for a day, repeat 3 times and top up with dexcool ($15) after the last drain. $20 total. Any thoughts?

The FSM doesn't point to any engine block drain and recommends draining coolant from the radiator petcock using a 3/8ths diameter hose over the drain tube to allow draining into a container. As you know, less than a gallon of coolant will drain out so two flushes would be more than enough for a complete flush if the original coolant was in good ondition and not discolored. I recall only flushing once and seeing close to clear water draining out before refilling with a gallon of straight coolant and using distilled water for make-up. I did mine on an inclined driveway so it may have been possible to have drained more than a gallon.
