How do you get to the front sunroof drain tubes?
Where are they located? (not the top but the bottom part where the water exits from.)

The two front tubes can be accessed by removing the interior kick panels on each side under the dash. You will see two hand sized rubber pads once the kick panels are removed. Remove that and you'll see the holes into which you can remove the tubes. That will take you 10 min ti remove, clean and replace.
The rear ones on the other hand are a different story. You must remove the balck rear wheel well protectors, unscrew a few screws from the rear outside panels and reach for the tube ends. You can't pull them out so you might a well cut the ends to let all the gunk come out. The rear ones will take time to go to as they are located in a spot that requires you to partially remove the outside panels above each wheel. |

Actually. I see you have a 1997. This may not be the case for 1997. It is only for 1992-1995, my bad. But considering the design of the cars, they are very similar. so the front ones at least should be the same.

The rear ones were easy, they were just right inside the trunk.
I found the front ones! Kick panels like you said behind this thick rubber side thing. The rear were dry as a bone, but the fronts were still wet and muddy and CLOGGED. So all is well, all drains work now (yay) can't wait for the next rain storm ![]()

I'm really glad that I stumbled onto this thread! I think this might explain my 1/2" of standing water in the passenger's side foot well this morning after a thunder storm last night...
By the way, demon...Nice ride! Can you hear that stereo OK? ![]() |

OK...I found the front right sunroof drain hose to be outside of the hole it's supposed to fit into. Anyone know the trick for getting this boot thing back into the hole in the bodywork? I have average-sized hands, and I can't seem to get it.
