i was getting soda and the codes P0341 and P0731 showed up, this car doesnt have a cam shaft sensor and usually means a misfire and ive had a transmission flush before college
Things that have been replaced in the past year: ECTS New Plugs and Wires Tranny flush Reg oil changes New Head Gasket (at dealer) New Coil packs (not sure of exact name, but sounds right, {the thing that the wires go into on the other side of the plugs if that makes sence) its kinda getting annoying because off all the stuff that ive done, there really shouldnt be lights comming on thanks, Corey

P0341
What brand of plugs? Failed wires will do this also. The wire to plug #1 and #4 MUST run from the coil to the head next to each other and be in the cable clips. P0731 This is a symptom of a mechanical/hydraulic failure in the 1st gear clutch. No electrical cause. I would change the fluid and filter. Flushing a Saturn transmission can cause problems.... |

For code 341, sometimes it's just a stray code and it goes away for a long time after clearing. If it keeps coming back even after changing to copper plugs and cleaning the corrosion on the coils and transmission mount it may end up being a bad Ignition module I ended up changing them on both of my 99 Saturn's and the code finally went away.

Probably best to change the fluid and filter yourself.
Your problem could be a leaking cam cover gasket that has leaked oil into the plug well(s). Remove each plug wire one at a time and see if there is oil on teh bottom of the boot. |
