I have a 2004 Vue and have been trying to fix the famous sunroof leak for 1 year now. The front and back drains from the sunroof nipples all drain fine. At this point I have every interior trim piece removed including the rear seat belts so I can clearly see all the hoses and connectors.
WHAT I HAVE DONE: I perfromed the zip tie, super glue fix to the front drains and blew them out as well. I removed all hoses and the rubber nipple that mounts to the frame panel for the rears and cleaned them all thoroughly. Now the leak is now coming from the bottom of both sides of the sunroof pan at a joint about 12 inches from rear drain plug nipples and some even makes its way to the rear hatch. At this point I have every interior trim piece removed including the rear seat belts so I can clearly see all the hoses. I am out of ideas short of replacing the entire sunroof which I have no experience in doing! Thanks in advance! |
