Drivers Seat Too Close to steering wheel

I can't push the driver's seat back any further. Is there a way to adjust it so it's not so close to the steering wheel? Or, move the rails its sits on further back?

If you can, did you move the seat forward? If something hard fell onto the seat rails, this may prevent seat travel as it jams it in place. Moving the seat in the opposite direction may loosen and allow travel or reveal where it jammed. Rocks, pebbles, a Lego piece, etc. If rails are rusted, some penetrating oil can loosen things. White grease for continual lube.

Power or manual seat? Does it move at all?
My old SL1 had a stuck manual passenger seat. There was a stiff wire that ran from one side of the seat adjuster to the other that had broken. So the track wasn't being released on one side. I replaced it with a piece of coat hanger wire, without removing the seat.

You can always adjust it, remember that it's not safe when a driver is too near the steering wheel.
