Devil Lug Nut Caps

I keep losing the lug nut caps on my wheels after getting my tires rotated. The plastic caps fall off if they aren't tightened properly. I'm thinking about replacing them with some polished lug nuts. Any suggestions on where to buy them from? I want them to look custom and match the stock alloy wheels on my 2002 SC2. Thanks.

SummitRacing has a good selection of styles and colors. I was told AutoZone and Advance Auto has 'em too. If it's not a stock style replacement Napa's useless from my experience.

This is of no help, but I always remove the covers before I take them to a shop Put them on myself afterwards

Oh, you take yours to a shop and THEY lose the covers for you? That's dumb. If your going to the same shop every time...well, don't do that

I wanna say the shops I've gone to for tires don't do that but...I drop rims & tires off in the morning for them to mount & pick up that afternoon all done. Then I put 'em on my car.

Yeah, the mechanics strip them.

I saw a *ton* of different kinds of these plastic lug nut caps at Pep Boys the other day. The only thing is that they are a dull grey, so I think you'd have to buy a whole set and/or paint them to match the old ones.

that happened to me once on my OE wheels. whoever removed my wheels did not tighten the plastic nut covers. I went back to my Saturn retailer and told them to replace them since they were the last ones to touch my Saturn. after that I would check and tighten those nut covers before going home.
