![]() I have a 1997 saturn sl1. The wipers will not work in low, intermediate or high, but do work in quick release mode and also in washer mode. what could the issue be?

![]() Could be some of the integral resistors/contacts on the control stalk switch are toast, or it could be the relay/controller that's integral with the wiper motor. This motor-resident controller reads the voltage from the control stalk wire and decides what wiping to do -- intermittent, regular, fast, based on the voltage.
Anyone have some quick ideas on how best to narrow down the problem to one component or other????
