Default Great Autozone deals

I'm not sure where people get parts, and where I live I have so many options close that I usually just price shop a little. If I'm in a hurry I just go with who is close and has it, or can get picky with brands.

But some of the Autozone shipping and specials right now are killing it on prices. I got pads and rotors for my daughters Mazda 3, and online it's good for $40 off the combo. Plus free next day delivery.

As it turned out, they couldn't deliver the next day, so they sent me a $10 store credit. Due to the remains of the hurricane wreaking havoc, my delivery I should have got Friday came Saturday, but I'm not going to sweat them on natural disasters.

BUT, all said and done, I got new front rotors and pads dropped on my doorstep for less than $125.

Since we have so many brick and mortar places within a few miles, I rarely watch the online deals as much. I was adding them to the shopping cart just to check which stores had what in stock really. But after this I'm going to pay it a bit more attention.

With few exceptions, I purchase my auto parts, including tires, on Amazon.

I don't want to spend that much...that's a lot.... Check out Rockauto's prices. I bought Raybestos rotors and pads for my Saturn for less than $50. My truck was more.

For the most part RockAuto or Amazon are actually cheaper when time isn't my concern. But often with the shipping costs and/or time, I get parts locally to open up my window of opportunity to get to work done.

When time is on my side I'm pretty much always check RockAuto. It's rare that they don't have what you need oh, and also rare that they don't have a great price on it.

Amazon and eBay have always been hit-and-miss with me. I had to get a specialty light bulb and both of them were ridiculous in price compared to Partzilla.

Most of my Amazon parts come either the next day or 2 days later, either way much faster than the parts store having to order every single "not Chevy" part and paying jacked up shipping prices (on top of super jacked up part prices) for the inconvenience I'm causing them.

I look them up on rockauto then buy on amazon. Rockauto is cheaper but they donít provide deliver dates. Amazon is usually 1-3 days.

I donít use Autozone mostly because they use very low quality parts. Iíll pay more to not spend the rest of my life exercising lifetime warranties.

I'll use Autozone when it's convenient and the parts are easily serviceable. Brakes make sense since I can always exercise their warranty. If something's arcane or deep in a tranny or engine, it's worth waiting for Rock Auto or even a tranny specialist outfit. IMHO, Ebay is better than Amazon most of the time, but they're not up to speed with taxes and sometimes they add them even on the exempt items. In short, whoever is the best bang for the buck at the moment. My favorite go-to is U-Pull-It or Craigslist.
