Default 2004 Saturn Ion clutch failure

Hi there,

I started my car earlier today and it began making a screeching noise that faded away when I began driving. I drove about a mile and parked it and when I went to drive again the clutch lost all pressure. After pumping the clutch and turning it on and off I managed to get it in gear and drove home. I started it up and it has pressure now but I am afraid to drive it. It currently has 85k miles on it. I don't know a lot about cars. Any ideas? The fluid levels are normal, no leaks. I'm praying the clutch is not going out and it's a cheaper part but I'll bring it to the shop for a diagnosis.

Warm regards,
