Default Problems with saturnfans webmail

This goes out to Charlie more than anyone else. Are you aware of any problems with the saturnfans.com webmail server? I'm trying to log in and after typing in my user ID and p/w, I'm getting a 404 "file not found" error. This has been happening for the hour or so. I tried logging in from http://webmail.saturnfans.com/ as well as from the main saturnfans.com home page.

I would have sent an e-mail about it, but I can't do it if I can't log in, right? Course if I could log in, I wouldn't have been posting this in the first place. Anyway, any info will be much appreciated.

Thanks for posting about the problems. The Webmail seems to be working right now (6pm EST), but I will report the trouble to my service provider to see what happened.

Thanks Again,
Charlie

Just to kind of give an update. I sent a test message from another e-mail account to my saturnfans account. It didn't get kicked back to me, which is a good sign.

But when I click on the link above, it still goes to the page with the link that says "Enter Saturnalia" and below it the link to the webmail. When you click on the webmail link, all it does is refresh that same page.

I thought it might be my computer so I tried from another location and the same thing happened. This was at about 6 PM CST. Thanks, Charlie, for checking into it and for letting me/us know what happens.

One more thing I forgot to mention. I also tried logging in straight from the everyone.net home page to see if that would make a difference. I know with another e-mail account I have I sometimes have to log in from another site. However, this also failed to work. Same old "the requested file was not found on this server".

I'm still trying to figure out what's going on. In the mean time, try using this address. You might also want to try to clear your browser's cache, and then reload http://webmail.saturnfans.com/ .

Let me know what happens,
Charlie

Charlie,

No dice - I still can't get into it. I cleared the browser cache and everything. The link to http://webmail.saturnfans.com/ still takes me to the main Saturnalia home page instead of to the webmail login.

I had no trouble earlier this afternoon and in the past week. I don't know what's up and it's starting to get quite frustrating.

Just tried the link on the 8:01 post and it took me straight to the mail log in page and let me log in on mine no problem at all.

Ok, I just tried it from a computer whose browser history, cache and cookies are cleared every time a person logs out of our system. And guess what? Still doesn't work.

Is there an IP blocker on the server now? Because I'm currently on a T1 LAN so all the IP addresses from the computers I use have the same starting numbers. This is getting to be really annoying because 1) there are some important e-mails that I'm waiting for 2) I've switched a lot of my contacts over to that account and 3) it's working just fine for other people.

This has been one heck of a week, I gotta tell you. Thank God I'll be going out on Saturday to get away from all the BS that's been going on.

It works now! I was able to log in just fine (8 AM CST). I honestly don't know what was up but I'm very glad it's working now.

Thanks Charlie for all your effort!
