Thumbs Up Saturnitis

My mom called me a month ago, and said that I had won a stadium blanket from Saturn of Woodbridge (I know we've talked about the promotional stuff before). I, of course, felt like I had just won a million dollars. I use the blanket everyday. I even visit them alot, brag about my car to the world, wash it as much as i can, pat it, talk to it, tell it goodnight, that sort of thing. I have a disease, and it's called Saturnitis. I know I'm not the only one here......and that makes Saturn fans awesome. So who else is absolutely obsessed??? Does Saturn hypnotise people, prob not, it's just me.....

I think a Saturn is one of those things you don't really appreciate until you own one, and then when you find how economical and carefree, and how much fun it is to own one, then you get hooked. I've even dressed mine up a bit, I put on a chrome exhaust tip and got a neon light that I put on the inside of my tailgate.

Yeeaeh, all my email and aim stuff is SATURNED, or whatever, and I'll admit to drawing the symbol on everything I own, especially when doodling in those 500 people lecture courses...

Hi, I'm Mike and I too have Saturnitis
My wife complains that I send too much time with my Satty, but she enjoys riding around in it.
I think it's because of the looks we get when we pull up in a parking lot.

I have to admit to this. Saturnitis and Honda-itis, but the case of Saturnitis is definately worse. Or is that better?

I've sold cars for Saturn and Honda, although I've convinced three people to buy a VUE, and only one to get an Accord, and that was a used Accord.

So count me in! And I don't even drive a Saturn...

I know a lot of people with Honda-itis. Its interesting though that cases of Saturnitis always seem much more severe.

I read somewhere in an article about cult-branding, they listed Saturn and the reasons its a cult brand is because Saturn is the "spirit of american competition"

go figure

Apple was near the top of the list for representing "liberty regained"

Im not only a member of the Saturn cult, but the Apple one as well

Just noticed that both companies seem to like the word "different" in their slogans.

And now that I'm thinking of it, how come Dodge plays with the different slogan as well? What so different about a dodge? They've only been around since the beginning of automobile history. And now a days they're mostly just like every other chrystler. Dodge's dont hold any prestige or anything. They're different? I hardly think so.

I just saw a dodge commercial, and their new catch phrase is "grab life by the horns"---guess that different thing didn't work. Saturn had the different theme from the beginning, and no other brand that I know of has a cult as cool as ours!!!
