2006 VUE 3.5L
Default It's that time of the year again... time to put the daily back into full service.

Snow will start flying, the vette lands it's last flight of the year this weekend and the Vue becomes the maximum amount of automotive enjoyment until at least March (hopefully with a day or two of sunny dry conditions inbetween).

If you got a summer car / fun car post up the pics!

I wish! My DD and fun car used to be my '09 Cobalt SS Turbo Sedan, but I traded it in to get my more practical Vue. I'm hoping to snag a used Saturn Sky in a few years to serve as my fun car though (or a Solstice but I like the Sky a lot better).

I guess that would be a poor man's Corvette!

Default Re: It's that time of the year again... time to put the daily back into full service.

I just took the non-winter tires off and put on the winters. Plus I'm going to be running some Rally Armour mudflaps on the VUE this winter. I'll get a pic and post it later.

No cool car for me to put away for the winter. Some day........

I had a friend with a Chevelle SS454. It was a screamer... Friday night the streets were filled with Chevelle SS's, Olds 442's, Pontiac GTO's, Camaro SS's, and all the Fords and Mopars that thought they were fast...

Now look what we have... ricers? Trucks with 24" wheels? Oh well...

Well, it was a 50 something degree day,and not many days in November here are that warm,so I took the advantage of it and washed my 3 babies. Now that I have the Vue,it will be more for winter, I still use the SL, i haven't put the winter rims on yet,but even in the really thick of the winter, the bodykit would act as a plow if I drove it. I use the SL once the roads are cleared enough. The Camaro had it's last time running this year, it is now tucked away in the barn.

Looks like an '03. V6 AWD?

YA!! LOL!!!

Nah,just a K40 CB antenna, retired the 93 Scort, was on there when I drove cross country twice. Use now when I drive on interstate.

-and "looks" like an 03? Cause it doesn't have that silver bar in the grill?
Was a deer hit before I got it. I looked for months to get this 3.5 AWD!!!

and to Tom- That looks terrible!!! I'd never do that to my Camaro! I do remember that commercial! ..but i think you could only see a glimpse of the car,not the whole thing.

nice maros! I'm planning a cam swap this winter, spring 2011 would be a lot better with 500whp rather than 400whp
