Happy Yellow Coupes

I just got to thinking...I wonder how many people who use this board have a yellow coupe? So (if you don't mind), if you drive a yellow coupe, tell us a little about it and post a pic if possible. Thanks!

My "taxi" has 4973 miles and I bought it on March 14, 2001. So far, no mods, but some are planned once I have it for a little while longer...

I bought mine on January 21. It's a Special Edition Coupe #97 of 99. It has 20,700 miles.

My mods include:

Hotshot intake
Accel 300+ Thundersport spark plug wires
2.25" cat-back exhaust piping
Flowmaster 30-series Delta-Flow muffler
17" x 7" ALT chrome Type 180 wheels
P205/40R17 Kumho Ecsta 712 tires
Sprint 2" lowering springs
3-way adjustable rear sway bar
Sprint front strut tower bar
Removed front grille
Clear turn signal bulbs

I don't plan on doing too much more. I'm trying to concentrate on the race car.

Got mine June 3rd, 2000 and it's got 12.300 miles on it right now....Never had a single problem and everyday I enjoy driving it more.... No mods yet, but I want a K&N Filter...I lease my car, so does anyone know any mods I could do that wouldn't affect the warranty?

Anyway, Tenchi - I took a look at the pic of your car and did I notice Tenchi Muyo in Love playing on the small LCD screen? If so, then kick a**!

Attention

I have a question for all you yellow coupe owners. I have noticed since I purchased my car that the back end can never stay clean. I have to clean it ever single day. Is it just my location or does everyone else notice that amount of dirt build up on the back bumper and near the license plate?

Nope, same thing happens to me. Dirt on the rear end. I think it is a combination of dew in the morning with air turbulance on the way to work kicking up dust and making mud on the rear bumper.

If it is any consolation this is not imited to just the yellow cars but all the 01-02 SCs. It just shows up a lot more on the yellow ones.

Thumbs Down

Yeah, I posted on that same subject (the dirty bumper/license plate area) a few months ago. I think I has to do with the air turbulence behind the car. Does anyone think this has anything to do with the integrated spoiler with the 01-02? I have never heard anyone having this problem on the 97-00 models, and it seems the integrated spoiler is the only truly visible change between the two, in terms of the shape of the rear end.

That makes sense to me that it may be the spoiler. I never even thought about that.
