Default Your Dream Saturn?

What's yours?

Mine would be a 96-99 (preferably 99) SW1 Manual with cruise , power windows keyless entry, and leather seats in Blue.

Did they make the SW1 with those options? I havn't found any manuals with the keyless entry and cruise.

1995 SC2
Default Re: Your Dream Saturn?

Fully customized MR 1995 / 1996 SC2 with a forced induction V6 or a V8.

Yes, I know it will only be a shell of a Saturn but it will be one really fun car to drive. This is certainly a dream car because of the amount of money and fabrication that would go into making a mid-engine rear wheel drive SC2. But someday, maybe...

Either that or I would settle for one with the motor from a Sky Redline (turbo) as long as we are talking about dreams.

2001 SC2
Default Re: Your Dream Saturn?

I'm torn between a SL3 and a 1st gen body style SC2 with a LSJ motor and AWD transmission. Hmmm...have a '96 SC2 in my yard and the entire drivetrain to an Outback...too bad the SC2 is about as long bumper to bumper as the rear driveshaft
...
The proper way to fix a S-Series automatic is to replace it with a 5spd O:)

I'm thinking a loaded white with tan leather interior 1995 SW2 MT with lightly tinted windows, black badging, clear side markers, lowered about 1.5" and with custom wheels.

Hein's 98 SW2 "Shaggin Wagon" has always caught my eye too but I think I would still prefer the first gen styling with the same look.

Has anyone ever seen a wagon in pearl white? I know it was an available factory paint colour by special order but not sure if that applied to the SW or not.

I'm looking for an orange 2002 SC2 also. I saw one for sale a couple of years ago at a street corner used car dealer, but it had too many unknown issues, so I didn't buy it. I have never seen one on the road. I also like the older SCs with the pop-up headlights.

The one I have almost fits the bill. It's a silver sw2 with power windows and doors. The only thing that I would prefer is stick shift over the auto tranny.

If I could get my hands on a clean 95 or 96 SC2 with tan leather and a 5sp WITHOUT a sunroof, I'd be tickled. Slightly prefer 96 since that gets you OBDII for slightly easier diagnostics, though I prefer the aluminum valve cover on thepre-96 DOHC engines.

My dream Saturn would be my Sally, but fully restored.

Also, my white 1st-gen SW2 with higher-performance rims, a slight drop in ride height, and the factory white detailed with various black, tastefully done vinyls. When done, the entire car is going to be white and black, even in the engine bay.

Oh, and if I ever have my dream garage, one of every special edition S-series ever!
