$1800 earlier this month for the 2001 SL1 5-speed. Needs an intake manifold gasket, and could use some new struts...

140,000 miles.

Welcome back... I think the last time I saw you on here you had mentioned that you had sold, or you were getting ready to sell the wagon that you had- if I remember correctly.... how is life treating you these days?

Hi Bryan!

Yes, we traded the SW2 in on the SVT Focus a few years ago. I sold my XR4Ti project car last winter, so I was in need of another winter car, and I saw that as my excuse to get back into the community

I mean, we owned at least one S-series for probably 11 years straight! What can I say, it's in my blood!

Uhhmmm.... I guess since I'm now on Saturn #5, I'll chime in.

My current Saturn is a 98 SC2 auto. Bought it back in September this year with 109K on the clock. Cost me $2550. I thought that was high at that time but the car needed - literally - nothing. It was turn key and drive it home.

Since then, I've only put basic maintenance items into it. Plugs, wires, thermostat, CPS, 4 new tires, and an alignment. Only major thing I've come to find out that it needs is a sunroof motor and the backlight for the odometer.

I paid 9000. for my 96 in 1999 (with 13,000 miles) and 350. for my 2001 last year (with 174,000, I put a 300$ motor into it) I love them both and they have 165,000and 175,000 miles and are as good as they have ever been.

$650 for my 99 SW1 just 5 days ago with 121,000 miles on it.

It needs a headliner, and I'm pretty sure it needs a thermostat based on posts here. No rust or other mechanical issues to speak of. (as far as I can tell)

Almost 13 years of ownership & 161,000 miles later... I paid around $15,000 for my 1998 SC2 in March 1999. It only had 7600 miles on it.

Not that anyone is counting, I'm sure, but forgot to include the top motor mount in the list of $$ I know I need to spend immediately.
