Default 'almost stalling' problem solved finally!

Woohoo!...

Problem: Reving my engine anywhere past 2k rpm, and letting off the throttle would cause the rev's to fall so far the car would almost stall out. This happened no matter the speed, and worsened when a idle condition happened from higher rpms.

Solution: Cleaned the throttle plate/inside throttle body (paper towels and windex There was like 1mm of crap all around the throttle plate, and much more past it. The crap would make a very tight seal in a no-throttle situation, causeing little air too enter = almost stalling out.
Cleaning it all out, I swear I gained 2hp all across the rpm band. The idle is a little faster as well. Throttle response is supurb. From now on I'm spending a few min. each oil change cleaning it out.

***WARNING*** DO NOT let anything get into the throttle body (e.g. paper towel bits). And I'm sure there are better cleaning products/procedures, this one was just cheap (free) for me, and did the job after 5-10min of cleaning.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Try looking for an air intake cleaner product, it does a hell of a job and can clean past the throttle body. If sprayed into the air by-pass passages it take out the crap in there as well.
