Default hey yall

I came here mostly because there is alot of wonderful info on this site i hope to utilize. I have been an owner of a 1993 saturn sl2 for the last 11 years. As she sits she has 375,000 miles and has sat that way for 3 years now very sad. The motor became weak so i had it rebuilt all nice new shiny parts went to crank her up and she shot 6 ft. blue flames out the intake so i called it quits. Time to get her up and running again. Went out last night and got another motor the motor is a bit newer than the original but it will work. So i hope to get to know all of you. And to share my knowledge that i have.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

flames out of the intake? camshafts installed wrong? Good luck and there are a lot of people on the S-series section (the best series, I do believe) who will help you.

yep 375,000 miles pretty sure he set the timing up 180 off its firing on the intake stroke makes a cool light show and thats it. guna put the other motor in and work on the timing so i have a spare.
