Default Looking at buying

Hi, there. New member here from Canada. Looking at buying a 2009 Saturn Vue XE V6 AWD.

Any advice, recommendations, much appreciated. Can these vehicles still be serviced by GM dealers or regular garages? Are parts easily available?

Thanks for any replies.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

2009 VUE Red Line
Default Re: Looking at buying

My '09 Vue Redline FWD has been reliable but its low mileage...have owned it since new.

Best prediction of future is the past and of course no guarantee. Full vehicle history, CARFAX, no. of oil changes...these engines don't like infrequent oil change intervals etc.

A suggestion is have the car inspected by a mechanic prior to purchase.

Good luck.

Yes, Chevy dealer should service it. Btw, Saturn was discontinued but the the Captiva is basically the same vehicle as the discontinued Vue.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Default Re: Looking at buying

Selling 2008 XE AWD 58,000 miles. I got it back from the dealer 2 days ago with a replacement trans under special coverage. Dealer service tried twice to repair due to wave plate failure and asked GM for a replacement. I'm 90 miles west of Chicago just west of I-39, two miles south of I-80.
