Oil on 2 spark plugs
2001 saturn sl2
I was about the change spark plugs and do MMO treatment and when I removed spark plugs two of them No. 2 and 3 spark plugs threads have oil on it ... does it mean those two piston rings are shot? How much mystery oil we should add in each spark plug hole? What type of spark plugs you recommend? how about bosch 4501 which is platinum and iridium mix? What do you mean by oil on the plugs? On the threads? Or on the electrode? If it's on the threads it's most likely the valve cover gasket leaking.

ALWAYS USE NGK COPPER SPARK PLUGS ONLY.
Our sattys use a waste spark system (fires 2x) so it will EAT up any other plug and not give the performance you might expect. |

The cam cover is leaking into the spark plug wells, and if enough oil leaks into the well, it can affect spark plug performance. You should think about replacing the cam cover gasket. Do not use the the Bosch plugs. NGK BKR5ESA-11 are the best bet.
