Default Thank you soccer moms

A woman on a cell phone in a SUV caused me to hit a trailer on the back of a truck, doing some slight damage to my passenger side...
anyway, in doing this my front passenger rim was damaged. I have the 16" alloy rims, not the brushed aluminum ones, but the grey alloy with the saturn logo in the center instead of the cross. I am looking for 1 rim to replace this with OR without tires, or a set of the aluminum rims with or without the tires.
If anyone has a set let me know, I know alot of people like to change their rims...

Probably drifted into his lane not paying attention, or cut in front without using a signal. Happens all the time with these self important a-holes in LA who believe they can "multitask" and drive at the same time. Earth to boomers and yuppies and the clueless: driving IS multi tasking. Get off your stupid cell phones and do it.

On the phone in front of me and realized at the last minute (at 60mph) that she missed her turn, hit the brakes hard to turn. It was either plow into her, or try and squeeze b/t her and the truck, i had another car on my ass. Bumping the truck keeps it off my record/insurance, rear ending her is my fault, no matter what. stupid NC laws.
I was a GOOD 6 car lengths behind her.

What can I say man, besides that sucks. Okay, it's often assumed that if you hit somebody from behind you were obviously following too closely, but I could see how there's no way to anticipate that the a**clown in front of you is going to randomly slam on their brakes, especailly given that the same group of a**clowns also like to tap their brakes at random intervals to try and maintain speed, which has desensitized people to when they really are slamming on their brakes. I wish people could just be bothered to learn how to drive.

Well i had the car taken up to the chevy dealer (saturn dealer body guy is only in on wed and sat) and they said $2,350 just to repair the body.
Its scratched on the fender, and front door, rear door has scratch/dent and the rear fender has a crack.... sounds like thats what they are smoking to me... they quoted a half hour to take out the headlight to replace the fender then to realign the headlight... I was like well hell, I'll pull the 2 pins and take the headlight out my damn self. Im going to take it to Saturn saturday and let THEM check it out

Check out some of the websites like saturnparts.net they sell body parts as well, you could order entire body panels for less than $300 for a Saturn, and do a lot of the work, other than painting it yourself.

When my SL was sideswiped by a Civic, just to buff out and repaint the door panels cost $700. No parts were even replaced. Good thing her insurance paid for it.

You might check some local junk yards for wrecked ions, one might have the one good rim you need.
