Default Location of BCM

Greetings, Saturn Wizards!

I'm having an intermittent electical disease in my 2002 LW-2 (or is it LW-200?) which I've gleaned from this forum may be something loose in or around the BCM. The symptoms: When in motion, and when the outside temperature is in the 50's, the Temp and Gas gauges intermittently drop to zero, along with the running lights shutting down. When gauges return to normal readings after a second or two, the "Security" dash light will glow for second or so - sometimes the door locks click a little, though usually not. (Yesterday the tailgate door mysteriously unlocked itself while I was on the road.)

I've read in other posts that the BCM could be nearing death, but I'd like to eyeball it myself and check for loose plug-ins, etc. before taking the rascal to my friendly Saturn dealer. Where would I look for it?

Many thanks!

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

It's located on top of the glove box.

Where would you find the BCM on a 2.2L I4 L100/L-series?

All the L-series car should have the BCM located on top of the glove box.

Thanks, all, for the info about where I might find the BCM. Since making my initial post above, however, the L-Machine decided to have a stroke, lapsing into deep brain death. Car got hauled away on flatbed yesterday.

Since a brain-dead Saturn L-Machine can't be shifted out of Park, the tow operator simply dragged the car down the driveway with wheels locked by the transmission. Is it likely anything was damaged? Is there a simple way to get a locked-up LW-200's automatic tranny out of Park when the brains are saying "No!"?

Many thanks!

The procedeure is in the owners manual. You pull up on the bezel around the shifter, then manually release the pin that holds the shifter in park.
